It’s been a banner day for Tieton Stamp Mosaic Monument

July 7, 2015

We started strong, flattened out over the Fourth of July weekend, and then took off again today. This is great momentum, which is crucial for getting the buzz going in the press and social media. We’re especially honored that one local family chose to remember three relatives who served the Tieton community for decades, with three etched glass tiles that will become part of the post office facade. We think this premium will grow in popularity as soon as word gets out about it.

Jeremy Howell, one of our young creative characters in Tieton, shot short videos of some of the locals who live and work here. They are sweet. We will roll them out during the month, sharing with everyone vignettes of our neighbors expressing support for the post office, and the Tieton Stamp Mosaic.

We believe that everyone wants to live in a place that has bragging rights. Who doesn’t want to show visitors and friends what a cool community they live in? It doesn’t have to be fancy, or expensive, or snooty. It has to have character, authenticity, and characters. It has to have elements that distinguish it from every other place. All of our supporters, regardless of where they live, probably share this notion. If our project inspires others, so much the better.

Thanks to everyone who has contributed so far, and to those who will tomorrow.
